Olivia's Bridgerton 6th Birthday Party
Sharing all the details of Olivia’s 6th Birthday. She has always been my girly girl and LOVES birthdays. After spending time in London, I knew a proper tea party would be the perfect theme. When I think of a high tea, I think of Bridgerton. ‘We’ played a lot with whimsical teacups and floral accents. When I say ‘we',’ this year I partnered with Mingle Events. They will elevate any event, baby shower, kids party, special occasion dinners, ect. The other perk Mingle Events, their sister company is The Flower Barn, so you know the florals were amazing. Pink goblets, floral tea cups, floral plates, gold spoon, pink napkins, and floral tiered dessert stands decorated the table. We also used my husband’s grandmother’s tea cups for the adults, they were special.
A tea party is not complete without tea sandwiches and incredible dessert. Elle’s Belles Bakery went above and beyond for the decadent desserts including, mini scones (served with jam and clotted cream), mini berry tarts, mini strawberry cream cakes, berry macarons, and a beautiful strawberry shortcake. Honestly, her desserts were better than some we had in London. THANK YOU ELLE!
For tea sandwiches I made, pb&j, cucumber & cream cheese, ham & cheese, and chicken salad. Drinks we served lavender tea and non-alcoholic sparkling wine I loved watching the girls doll up their tea with fresh milk and sugar.
I love kid party favors, this time I purchased floral dresses for the girls to wear during the party and to take home. As the party was on Mother’s Day, we also had a flower bar for the mom’s to take home a bouquet. Again, thanks to The Flower Barn.
