Cast Iron Skillet Pizza
In the kitchen with Livv! Ditch the pizza stones for a cast iron skillet pizza. Since watching The Lost Kitchen, my cast iron skillet has become my best friend in the kitchen. Here is a quick and easy to make pizza in under 30 minutes. The bottom edges are crispy and the middle so soft!

Ingredients:
Olive oil
1 store-bought pizza dough. @glutenfreefrairie. Make sure it’s at room temp.
Marinara. @primalkitchen
Mozzarella cheese. @violife
Sliced pepperoni @applegate
4 slices bacon, cooked and crispy. @applegate
Dried oregano
Crushed red chili flakes
Honey
Fresh basil
Method:
Set your oven to 500 degrees. Place your empty cash iron skillet in the oven for 20 min to preheat.
Use your hands or rolling pin to press dough into a round circle.
After 20 min, carefully remove the hot skillet. Drizzle olive oil in skillet, use a paper towel to evenly coat pan.
Transfer dough to the hot skillet. Spread the sauce evenly over dough. Spinkle with mozarella then top with pepperoni, bacon oregano, red pepper flakes. Drizzle honey on top, then transfer to oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until crust is golden. Remove from oven, top with basil and let cool in skillet for 5 minutes. Transfer pizza from skillet to cutting board. Let cool another 5 minutes. ENJOY!
